SUBJECT:		Changes to the NWS Production Suite




1.  The moratorium on changes to the NCEP Production Suite will continue until the new Central Computer System (CCS) becomes operational in January 2007.  The 30-day acceptance test on Mist (the replacement for Blue) is expected to conclude on 15 September.  General users will have access to Mist on or about 25 September. 

2.  Upcoming changes to NCEP's production suite can be viewed at the following website: 

http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/changes/ 

This WEB site contains details on any product or timing changes that are associated with upcoming implementations.
