PLOTTING CHART WITH THE REFERENCE POINTS FOR IN-FLIGHT
ADVISORIES.  IT ALSO PROVIDES THE LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE...IN
DEGREES /DEG/ AND MINUTES OF A DEGREE /MIN/...FOR EACH OF THE
REFERENCE POINTS.
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECASTERS SHALL BEGIN USING THE POINTS 
ON THE NEW REFERENCE CHART ON MARCH 1 1999.  
 
BOTH THE CHART AND A TEXT FILE CONTAINING THE REFERENCE POINTS
WITH THE LATITUDE /LAT/ AND LONGITUDE /LON/ FOR EACH OF THE
POINTS ARE DOWNLOADABLE FROM THE NWS AVIATION WEATHER CENTER
(AWC) WEB PAGE  (HTTP://WWW.AWC-KC.NOAA.GOV) BY CLICKING
ON..."NEW ADVISORY PLOTTING CHART."  THE INFORMATION IS ALSO
VIEWABLE AND DOWNLOADABLE FROM THE AWC PRODUCTS PAGE
(HTTP://WWW.AWC-KC.NOAA.GOV/AVIATION_WEATHER_CENTER.HTML) AFTER
CLICKING ON EITHER AIRMETS OR DOMESTIC SIGMETS THEN ..."NEW CHART

AS OF JANUARY 25 THE LAT/LON INFORMATION IN THE DOWNLOADABLE FILE
FROM AWC WAS CORRECT FOR ALL REFERENCE POINTS ON THE CHART.  NWS
OFFICE OF METEOROLOGY IS WORKING TO ISSUE PEN AND INK AND PAGE
CHANGE CORRECTIONS TO THE OML.
