CONFIRMED... THE MAJOR CRITERIA FOR DECOMMISSIONING THE
WSR-74C AT BISMARCK... NORTH DAKOTA /RADAR IDENTIFIER - BIS/
HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.  THE WSR-74C RADAR HAS BEEN
DECOMMISSIONED OFFICIALLY AS OF FEB 28... 1996.

DECOMMISSIONING MEANS THAT THESE RADARS ARE NO LONGER
ISSUING PRODUCTS... SUCH AS THE RADAR OBSERVATION /ROB/
MESSAGE... IN AN OFFICIAL CAPACITY.
