[netcdfgroup] Can't find include file NF_INT_IS_C_... not defined (./ncfortran.h: 26)

Hi all,

I have been trying to build NetCDF 3.6.2 on a Cray XT architecture but 
continue to receive the following build error with three (3) different 
compilers (PGI, Pathscale and GNU compilers)

 > Can't find include file NF_INT_IS_C_... not defined (./ncfortran.h: 26)

I have checked the FAQ's, archives etc. and can't seem to find a 
reference to this.

I would be grateful if someone could provide some insight.
