[netcdfgroup] which netCDF for MacOS? [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi,

Does this have any implications for future versions of NetCDF? That is, it would seem that the F77 API will still need to be supported in order for the F90 API to work; or will there be a new version of the F90 API which does not rely on F77?

No, actually the F90 API is built atop the F77 API, so you need F77 to work if you want to use F90...
