ncregrid, ncdx, and RubyNetCDF

Hi,

Some new tools and packages for netCDF have recently been made
available:

ncregrid: a tool for converting gridded 2- and 3-dimensional
(spatial) geophysical/geochemical scalar fields between grids of
  different resolutions

ncdx: a tool for making netCDF files OpenDX compliant (OpenDX is a
general-purpose data visualization and analysis package)

RubyNetCDF: a netCDF interface for Ruby (an interpreted,
  object-oriented scripting language)

More details are in "What's New with NetCDF?" at:

  http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/whatsnew.html

and in "Software for Manipulating or Displaying NetCDF Data" at:

  http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/software.html

Thanks to Patrick Jöckel (Max Planck Institute for Chemistry) for
ncregrid and ncdx, and to Takeshi Horinouchi and colleagues (Kyoto
University) for the Ruby interface.
