[netcdf-java] Cylindrical Equidistant projection

Is it possible to work with Cylindrical Equidistant projection data in 
netCDF-Java?  I'm not real familiar with this projection...most of my 
data is in LC.  I have nc-Java 2.2.22, and I'm not seeing projection 
support for CE.

Any help?
