THe good news: We fixed the network problem. A long-installed,
never-any-problem Cat5e cable opened a pair up causing it to fail to
negotiate to gigabit. It only took two of us 6 hours to find that... and
5 minutes to fix it.
The BAD news: sasquatch has blown a hard disk array and I'm replacing
disks right now. I hope to be back up in the next hour.
