NEXRAD Level II

Alan,

According to, for example,

the maximum hourly rate of NEXRAD-II data is approximately 1.2 gigabytes
of data in about 11,000 products. Therefore, to retain at least one
hour's worth of data, I recommend a product-queue of about 1.4 gigabytes
with about 12,000 slots. This assumes that this snapshot of maximum
data rate is typical.

Regards,
Steve Emmerson
