Anyone have an example "filter" file (/nrs/data/acq_wmo_parms.sbn I
think) that I can pirate? I have gone over the documentation and still
can't seem to get it just right to filter out products I don't want.
As a side note, since the NCF upgraded to new Linux boxes for the
Satellite Broadcast Network (SBN), the resulting added volume is
overloading my NRS on the NWSTG channel. I also understand that in the
next couple of months, the traffic on the NWSTG channel is expected to
increase by 20%. From what I gather, most WFO's (which have the same
NRS I do) filter out some products (mostly unneeded Level III radar
products).
This won't be a permanent solution, but it will get us thru for now.
