I cannot test the SMP version at this time, but I strongly recommend
compiling the kernel yourself, rather than using the RH RPMs for
anything more than an initial load.

Or such has been my experience.

I've seen and had some minor problems in several aspects of operation
(although none in LDM) with stock kernels from RH.
