[gembud] decoding 2007 reanalysis data

Hi,

One of our meteorologists here at HPC is having a problem decoding the 
2007 NCEP reanalysis data using dcreanal. When decoding the 2007 data, 
the resulting grid files are empty. Also, somewhat strangely, the grid 
names all convert from the typical 4-letter ones (HGHT), to 3-letter 
(HGT). Has anyone else noticed this problem? Is there a problem with a 
table we are missing here, or something else that might have changed 
with the data itself?
