[gembud] dcnldn question

The dcnldn distributed with GEMPAK is for the SUNY ascii feed.   
Lightning data is proprietary, and universities have access through  
the IDD network for academic use.  The dcnldn is used for that purpose.

You would need to contact either Vaisala or WDT if you desire  
lightning data for commercial use.
