CONDUIT
Working collaboratively with NOAA's National Weather Service (NWS), National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (in the early years), and the Unidata Program Center (UPC), and with cooperation from the university community, Unidata's Internet Data Distribution (IDD) has been used for distribution of CONDUIT high resolution model data sets. The data consist of a substantial set of the data made available on servers at the NCEP and at NWS.
Any posts to this forum will also be sent to the conduit mailing list (and visa versa).

LDM Users
This forum is intended for announcements, discussions, bug reports, and questions about the LDM software and Unidata's Internet Data Distribution (IDD) system. It is also the main list for general data requests when data have been missed (other users will help replace the missing data). Typical postings include discussions on using the LDM; discussions of issues related to porting to various platforms; information about changes to stations; and discussion of issues and priorities affecting the further development of the LDM and the IDD.
Any posts to this forum will also be sent to the ldm-users mailing list (and visa versa).

NAWIPS Migration
Dear Unidata GEMPAK/N-AWIPS users
At the recent meetings of the Unidata Users Committee and Policy Committee, discussions were held on how the Unidata Program Center (UPC) should proceed with support for N-AWIPS/GEMPAK and evaluation of AWIPS II (see background information).
The UPC is keenly aware that changes envisioned will have a significant impact on our community and that many of you have concerns. Be assured that we are fully committed to supporting university GEMPAK users for as long as feasible, even as we work with our users in providing a smooth and orderly migration to other long term solutions.
The UPC is most interested in your thoughts on this matter and invites community input. Please send your comments, concerns, or suggestions to nawipsmigration@unidata.ucar.edu.
To facilitate discussion on this topic, the UPC has also set up the following forum.

NOAAPORT
This forum provides an opportunity for users to exchange information regarding the installation and operation of a local NOAAPORT receiver and data ingestion site.
Unidata makes its locally developed downlink and LDM-ingestion software freely available as unsupported software, along with information regarding specific hardware in use. Forum topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Site signal reception / Terrestrial interference issues
- Hardware configuration / Selection
Channel identification
- Multicast configuration
- Ingestion software and LDM configuration
- etc.
