UNIDATA/COMET Workshop Agreement ("Agreement")
I, ________________________, agree to participate in a workshop titled "Using Instructional Technologies and Satellite Data for College-Level Education in the Atmospheric and Earth Sciences" ("Workshop") which is being held 22-27 June 1997, sponsored by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, ("UCAR") and understand that along with other participants, I will create education and training materials ("Work"). The parties agree that I shall own all right, title and interest in and to the Work, including the entire copyright in the Work. I hereby grant to UCAR a nonexclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, fully paid-up right to access and use the Work created in this Workshop, in any medium whatsoever, for research and educational purposes.
In the event I incorporate any pre-existing materials ("Materials") into the Work, I pledge that the inclusion and use of the Materials will not violate any kind of right of any third party. Additionally, I will hold UCAR harmless from any claims arising from this authorization to use such Materials incorporated into the Work.
I hereby grant to UCAR the right to take any photographs at the Workshop and to copyright the same in its own name, to use, re-use, publish, re-publish, and otherwise reproduce, modify and display the same, in whole or part in any and all media now or hereafter known, for any purpose whatsoever; and to use my name in connection therewith if it so chooses. I realize that I shall receive a group picture of the Workshop participants for this authorization.
I acknowledge that the name UCAR, or any affiliate organizations shall not be used in any way to endorse or promote any entity or products unless specific written permission is granted from UCAR.
The foregoing accurately and completely sets forth my agreement with UCAR.
