Shaping the Future: Unidata Users as Leaders

Workshop Purpose:
The workshop will showcase best practices in the use of Unidata applications and data. Pedagogical guidance and hands-on lab sessions will guide participants in using Unidata's resources and shared community technologies into undergraduate and graduate education and research.
Workshop Session Will Follow These Themes:
- Need and Opportunity for Educational Leadership
- Exemplary Approaches in Meteorology
- Adventure in Earth Systems beyond Weather; and
- New Technologies and Their Educational Uses
Logistics/Costs
Workshop Location:
UCAR Foothills Campus, Boulder, Colorado
Accommodations:
CU College Inn (conveniently located in central Boulder)
Costs/Support:
$25 non-refundable registration fee (due in May with confirmation materials). The workshop sponsors will cover all other expenses, except
transportation into and out of Denver International Airport. Participants will receive a $75 stipend to defray out-of-pocket
costs.
Financial Assistance:
Full funding may be available to registrants from small and minority institutions.
