NetCDF-Snapshot Downloads NetCDF C/C++/Fortran Source Code and Documentation This is the latest snapshot release of the netCDF C, C++, Fortran 77, and Fortran 90/95 libraries. To build netCDF with the netCDF-4 enhancements, use the --enable-netcdf-4 option to configure. In this case you, first build zlib-1.2.3 and hdf5-1.8.1. Then build the netCDF-4.0 distribution. By default (without the --enable-netcdf-4 option) netCDF will build the classic netCDF-3 library, without netCDF-4 enhancements. In this case neither HDF5 nor zlib are necessary.
