Remote/Local Server Access

  • McIDAS utilizes the ADDE server technology to access datasets.
  • The ADDE server can be running locally or remotely.
  • GRIB1 and GRIB2 are supported for remote access.
  • The example below illustrates REMOTE access to an ADDE server maintained by Unidata/UCAR located at the National Science Foundation.
