There is a description of the 6-minute profiler data, along with an on-line real time data display of the data. The datastream volume is approximately 1.5 MB per hour.
Hourly profiler data summaries are also available in the same datastream. This datastream volume is approximately 150 kb per hour.
These data will be freely available from FSL through an experimental data stream in a similar method that the lightning data are being made available to universities through SUNY-Albany.
Data usage guidelines, must be followed for these datasets.
Decoders have been created for GEMPAK and McIDAS-X applications for use with the profiler data.
