Comments:

The McIDAS-X and -XCD components of this release has been extensively tested in Unidata
on CentOS 6.[67] x86_64 distributions of Linux

SSEC no longer includes Solaris 10 x86 for their distribution of McIDAS-X/-XCD due to problems
building the HDF5 portion of the distribution

Unidata is working to restore support for Solaris x86 machines, but this is not available
yet.
