The Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) version 4.0u1 is available now. This version is recommended for all users. It can be downloaded at:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/index.jsp.
New features:
System Changes:
- Latest netCDF-Java 4.3 library
- Automatic redirection of data request from motherlode.ucar.edu to therdds.ucar.edu, as well as automatic renaming of GRIB variables.
- Forcing connections to the old TDS no longer an option with this release.
- New minor version of Java 6
Display Changes:
- Grid Trajectory Display
- Contour labeling frequency
Data Changes:
- Non standard calendars
