IDV version 4.0u1

The Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) version 4.0u1 is available now. This version is recommended for all users. It can be downloaded at:

https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/.

New features:

System Changes:

• Latest netCDF-Java 4.3 library
• Automatic redirection of data request from motherlode.ucar.edu to therdds.ucar.edu, as well as automatic renaming of GRIB variables.
• Forcing connections to the old TDS no longer an option with this release.
• New minor version of Java 6

Display Changes:

• Grid Trajectory Display
• Contour labeling frequency

Data Changes:

• Non standard calendars
