What's New with THREDDS

New THREDDS Data Server (TDS), Version 4.0
A new, stable release of the THREDDS Data Server (4.0) is now available. The TDS 4.0 release includes numerous bug fixes, uses the netcdf-java 4.0 library, and adds an OGC WMS service. TDS 4.0 requires Java 1.6 and Tomcat 5.5 (though we recommend 6.0).

New THREDDS Data Server (TDS), Version 3.17
A new, stable release of the THREDDS Data Server (3.17) is now available. This release includes enhancements that give TDS more layers of security, developed in close consultation with NOAA security experts. This version of the TDS requires Java 1.5+ and Tomcat 5.5 (though we recommend 6.0).

New THREDDS Data Server (TDS), Version 3.12
A new, stable release of the THREDDS Data Server (3.12) is now available. This is mainly a bug fix and performance release. We now recommend that you upgrade to Tomcat 5.5/JDK 1.5, as this is reputably more stable in a production environment. However, you can still use Tomcat 5.0/JDK 1.4. Please see the change log for a list of new features.
